David knew at an early age that music was the calling in this life. “I was about seven or eight years old the first time I saw an electric guitar in person. It was a Sea Foam green Fender Stratocaster that my grandmothers friend from England had. Soon as he plugged it in and played it, I knew I had to do that for the rest of my days. My love of guitar was immediate and the love affair has endured through the years. My love of singing came from necessity. I had all of this music in my head and I didn’t know any singers, so I taught myself.”

Lioncourt has recently seen a surge in popularity with over 100k streams in the new year but that hasn’t changed David’s drive to create new music. “There’s music playing in my head throughout every moment of my day. I have to sit down and write, to get it out. Nothing will ever change or influence that process for me.”

As to what the next steps for Lioncourt are. “I’ll keep doing what I’ve always done, write the best Hard Rock songs with big hooks and heavy riffs that I can.”
